Extremely Rare 18th-Century Wedgwood Jasperware Custard Cup with Lid – Solid Blue with White Reliefs
Museum-Quality – Marked Wedgwood, Number (3)

A rare and seldom-seen solid blue jasperware custard cup and lid from Wedgwood’s finest 18th-century production period. This elegant piece features finely detailed white reliefs with classic motifs of acanthus leaves and a shell decorating the handle attachment, beautifully undercut for depth and dimension.

The cup’s interior is lapidary polished, reflecting the high craftsmanship of the era. Although the lid is present, the top round knob of the lid is missing, as clearly shown in the photos.

Markings:
Impressed WEDGWOOD with the number (3), authenticating this as an original piece from the prime jasperware period.

Condition:

Good overall condition with noted damage to the lid’s top knob.

No chips or cracks to the cup itself.

Undercut reliefs remain crisp and well-preserved.

Dimensions (approx):

Width (handle to opposite edge): 3 1/2″
